Xenos Camps seek to help young people understand themselves and their environment better. So questions like those shown below - which often come up, can be answered or considered, individually and through seminars, debates and discussions during the Xenos Camps.
Xenos leaders have often been through these situations before and we hope their experience will help those attending the Camps.
Questions often asked:
What should I wear? Who am I?
What is school going to be like? Will I fit in?
Why can’t I be there? Why am I here?
We may not be able to answer all of your questions on a Camp, but we hope we can respond sensitively to your particular situation.
Camps are run twice a year to help kids returning to the UK.
Games, interactive sessions and discussion are used to tackle re-entry issues.
Outings to Cambridge or London give practical experience of the British culture.
The young people have lots of fun sharing their stories from around the world.
